North Carolina Dance Theatre REACH! Program Wins National Award: NCDT REACH!, a 2009 Women's Impact Fund grant recipient, is a program that makes quality dance training accessible to minority, male and female students, with evidenced financial need. The program recently won a program achievement award from the National Association of County Organizations (NACo). Director of Education and Outreach April Berry and Executive Director Doug Singleton accepted the award at a County Commissioners meeting on July 12. "Dance Theatre is thrilled for NCDT REACH! to have been nominated and awarded this national honor following only the second year of the program," said Berry.
